Wisteria House, Woolwell
Wisteria House, Woolwell is the latest home in our collection. We bought the home in 2020 and spent 18 months renovating and refurbishing it to make a home that we are so proud of! Wisteria House, Woolwell is designed for 33 people living with dementia. We have 24 hour specialist care and create an environment that makes our residents feel at home.
Rooms & Facilities
Our Woolwell home is the largest of our homes with 33 residents. The rooms are each individually decorated and have comfortable chairs and reclining beds. We want our residents to feel like they have their own space so we encourage family members to bring some personal items to make the room feel homely.
Garden
Wisteria House sits within a one acre garden with many listed trees offering sunny areas and also lovely areas of dapple shade. One of the particularly large beech trees just outside the garden lounge has a light show which can be lit up at night.
Communal Rooms
We have 5 different communal rooms, we have different rooms for different stages of dementia. Some of the rooms have more activities going on, whilst other rooms are quieter and offer more one to one care. We also have a Bungalow which is often used for staff training, however sometimes we turn it into pop-up cafés!
