Rooms & Facilities
At Woolwell, you’ll find 33 individually furnished, good-sized bedrooms. We encourage family members to bring in familiar and sentimental items to help residents relax and feel more at home. 25 of our bedrooms are ensuite, and our beautifully presented communal bathrooms and wet rooms are designed to make bathtimes as fun and relaxing as possible.
Garden
Our one-acre garden includes many listed trees, a large patio, a vegetable garden and plenty of space to walk and relax. We also have a sensory garden and a beautiful woodland garden, and we enjoy hosting BBQs and garden parties when the weather is kind. There’s even an impressive tree light show!
Communal Rooms
We have five different communal rooms, all carefully designed for the different stages of dementia. There are calm, quiet spaces and rooms that offer a range of activities. Residents are free to move through the different rooms as they wish. We also have a separate bungalow which doubles as a pop-up cafe, ice cream parlour and fish & chip shop.
